Gold Covers for Oura Ring: Process, Cost, and Timeline

An Oura ring tracks sleep, heart rate, and temperature — but its plain titanium body looks like wearable tech, not jewelry. A custom cover in solid 14K gold, with optional diamonds, is fitted around the Oura without blocking the sensors or charging. This guide explains how the cover is made, what it costs, and how long it takes.

Can you put a real gold cover on an Oura ring?

Yes. A cover in 14K gold (yellow, white, or rose) is fitted as a sleeve that surrounds the Oura body without touching the sensor surface or charging contacts. The Oura ring continues to function normally underneath.

The cover is not a wrap or a sticker. It is cast to the exact outer geometry of the Oura ring generation (Gen 3, Gen 4, etc.) and the wearer's finger size, then fitted at the atelier. The inner cavity is sized so the cover slides over the titanium body and seats against a specific contact point — never against the sensor window on the inside of the ring or the charging pad contacts on the outer rim.

How much does a gold Oura ring cover cost?

RockHer Oura covers start at $2,570 for a polished 14K gold cover and rise with engraving and diamond detail, up to $3,560 for a scalloped pavé diamond cover. All five styles are 14K gold in yellow, white, or rose, made in sizes 6 to 13, and compatible with Oura Ring 3, Ring 4, and Ring 4 Ceramic. Lead time is 10 to 15 business days.

Cover styles compared. Starting prices are for the cover only; the Oura ring is purchased separately. RockHer, May 2026.

Are the diamonds real?

Yes. The diamonds set into a RockHer Oura cover are real, certified at the carat-weight level, and set into solid 14K gold. Lab grown is available where surface carat coverage matters most; natural is available for buyers who prefer it.

If the difference between the two types of diamond is a new question for you, the side-by-side breakdown lives here: lab grown vs natural diamonds.

Will it affect the sensors or charging?

No. The cover is engineered as a sleeve, not a wrap. The inner surface where the optical heart-rate and temperature sensors sit is left exposed, and the charging contacts on the outer rim remain accessible. The ring charges and reads normally underneath the cover.

Practically: you put the Oura ring on its charging puck the same way you always have. Sleep and heart-rate readings continue without recalibration. The cover adds visual weight and jewelry character, not measurement error.

How is it made and how long does it take?

The cover is cast to the exact outer dimensions of the Oura ring generation and finger size, then finished and set at the atelier. Diamonds are pavé-set into the surface after casting. Lead time is similar to a custom engagement ring — measured in business days, not weeks.

Oura ring cover FAQ

Will a cover void my Oura warranty?

RockHer covers are an aftermarket accessory and not affiliated with Oura. Check Oura's warranty terms before fitting any third-party accessory; the cover itself is removable.

Can I take it on and off?

The cover is fitted snugly to the Oura body. It is not designed for daily on/off use; it sits as a long-term jewelry layer over the ring.

Does it fit every Oura generation?

Covers are made to a specific Oura generation (Gen 3, Gen 4). When you order, you specify the generation and your finger size so the inner cavity matches.

Can I resize a cover?

Pavé-set covers cannot be resized after casting because the diamond surface is continuous. Plain covers have limited resize range. Sizing is taken before the cover is cast.
